Using my Imagination, I learn to bear Pain

Troubles are not in our control. They get created for us naturally. At any step of life, we may have to suffer pain.

Yesterday, I was slowly running on the road which was somewhat broken. That time, I imagined as if one of my legs gets tangled with the other, and I fall down on my face.

I deeply felt that pain, the pain over the face, the chin and chest being rubbed over the road, the wound on elbows and knees, everything I felt as if it was real.

From such an imagination, I thought as if I could now bear the real pain very easily. From then, I have been practicing for other troubles that can originate anytime, and making myself ready to suffer as by doing so, a big trouble too would be familiar to me and I'll be having the power to bear it.

I learned an important thing about time

A few days ago, I had been away to my uncle's home in different city Ambala from Roopnagar in which I am living away from my parents for study in a good college. Those were festival holidays. I had a lot of work pending here for my college. The holidays were till the Sunday and I had first decided that I would come back on Saturday so that I could complete my work till the college starts. But, the laziness inside me said that I could go on Sunday and, complete and show the work on any day in the week. So, I decided to stay there.

Also, I do some work for earning online. In the roaming area at my uncle's house, internet did not work in my mobile. That was the reason that I wanted to leave on Sunday morning so that I could do some work in the night. But on Sunday morning, I accidentally checked whether the internet was working or not, and found that it had started working there. I was very happy and decided that I would stay there for that day because I could continue my online work there. I decided to leave by 6:30 a.m. train on Monday as the college was to start at 8:45 and the train was supposed to reach the Roopnagar station there at 8:30.

That day, I couldn't even do any work. And in the next morning, I failed to wake up in time and hence could not board the train. I was very sad. The next train was at 9:12. It was very important for me to reach the college last by 12:00 as it was the time when I was to be allotted events for anchoring in the annual grand techno-cultural fest -The Minerva.

This train's right time to reach Roopnagar was 11:15. So, I thought with heavy heart that at least I would reach college at the time of allotment. I finally went to the station in time and was able to board the train. The train ran in time in the beginning but had long halts at the intermediate stations. The train reached Roopnagar at 12:10 i.e. an hour late. I was very much worried. Then, I had to hire a cycle-rickshaw to go to my P.G. room to keep luggage there and then an auto-rickshaw to the college. But no single cycle-rickshaw was available at the station and it was impossible for me to go on foot with a lot of luggage. However, I manged to reach the room at 12:40, placed my bags there and immediately left for college.

On coming on the road, I was again unable to find any rickshaw to my college which is 10 kms far from there. I was again tense as I was already very late. Finally, I got it and reached the college at 1:00.

On reaching there, I saw that the events were being allotted. I was soon allotted two events and in the meantime, ma'm announced that those who were absent will not be able to take part in anchoring. I sighed and thanked God as He helped me reach there at the time of allotment. And, till now, I am left with no college assignment complete. The next Saturday and Sunday are busy for the fest. I shall have to spare some time from the wholly occupied schedule to complete that work.

From this whole incident, I learnt that I am lazy. To remove this drawback of mine, I have decided to prepare schedules for all tasks in or before time. But this time, I shall be strictly abiding by the schedule, whatever the situation may be.

  Thank you for reading.

My first Post - Introduction to Blog

Hi! Welcome to all. This is my first post on this blog. So, first I want to introduce you to the blog.

Here, I am a 1st year college student. I am habitual of watching the world with a different site. I love to learn from every moment of my life. Whatever I learn is really very significant. This learning just carries on to refining my life. Whenever we learn something from our mistake and accept it by heart, that mistake will be almost removed from our life. And if we carry on to learn from every mistake, our life will one day become free from mistakes, and then we'll be having a treasure of experiences with us.

I am going to share such experiences here with you along with what I learned from them. I shall be posting the experiences as soon as I experience them. This learning keeps me happy always and I hope that it does the same for you. too.

  Have a nice day!
